Benefits of Membership
Becoming a member of the IETF makes you part of a worldwide organization dedicated to helping people who have ET and finding a cure for this life-altering condition. Plus it brings a host of specific benefits.

Add a family member or friend for $15 – As a new or current member, you can add one family member or friend as a new member for only $15 for the first year. They will receive the same benefits as a $30 member. Subsequent annual membership dues are at regular prices.
Add online membership for $15 – As a new or renewed member, enhance your membership by adding the online membership option. With online membership, you receive three opportunities a year to chat live online with one of the medical advisory council physicians, as well as access to the IETF member-to-member discussion group. Not only that – online members also gain unlimited access to our current and past newsletters. The membership is good for one year and can be renewed annually.

Now Recruiting for NIH 1-Octanol Study
The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is in need of 20 volunteers who have ET in their arms to participate in studies of 1-Octanol. Participants need to be otherwise healthy. Trace R&D Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison
The Trace Center is a research and development center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. We are looking for individuals who have movement disorders of their arms or hands to participate in a study for evaluating usability of information technology such as hand held computers and public kiosks. You will be asked to visit Trace on two different occasions. You will be compensated at a rate of $15.00/hour and will receive a $50 bonus for completing both sessions. You will also be paid for transportation costs incurred traveling to or from study location (bus fare, car mileage at 33 cents per mile or local taxi service if required). Travel time is included in the hourly rate.
