Tremor Gram – April 2017

Scholarship Application Deadline

Each semester, the IETF awards up to four $1,000 scholarships to qualified post-high school students of all ages, to lessen the burden of higher education. Scholarship application deadlines for the fall 2017 semester are due May 1. The scholarship can be used for supplies, books or tuition at licensed, accredited institutions of higher education (including trade schools) and are paid directly to the educational institution. The application can be found online here. Learn more about the IETF’s most recent scholarship award winners: Audrey Weber, Alice Netting, Jack Peters, and Kelley Cordeiro.

Webinar Recording

Thank you to those who joined us for the IETF’s first essential tremor webinar on “Diagnosis & Treatment Options for ET”. We hope you found the presentation to be informative and educational. If you were unable to join us, the webinar recording can now be found online here.

Please consider filling out an evaluation. Your input is important to us and helps us maximize the program’s effectiveness. More information about the next webinar will be available soon.

It is because of our donors we can provide these free education opportunities. Please consider a tax-deductible gift so we can continue the success of this program in the future.

There’s still time to receive NETA T-Shirt

We still have a few NETA shirts that will be given to those who make a minimum $30 donation. Your donation goes right back into awareness efforts happening throughout the year and for next year’s big national awareness month campaign, so please give generously. Did you host a National ET Awareness Month event? Did you fundraise or raise awareness in other ways? Please share your story with us by e-mailing so we can highlight all NETA efforts in our next Tremor Talk issue.
