Tremor Gram – March 2017
National ET Awareness Month
ET makes simple hard. The IETF works hard to change that by naming March National Essential Tremor Awareness Month. By providing free awareness month materials, the IETF helps people gain a better understanding of what ET is, why the IETF exists, and how we can connect with others to search for a cure. This March, you can help make a difference too. There are countless ways you can put your mark on this year’s National ET Awareness Month. From hanging posters in your community to hosting a Do-It-Yourself Fundraising event that gives you personal freedom to be as creative as possible, the IETF offers many resources and tools to guide you throughout the way. If everyone does just a small part this ET Awareness Month, the impact can be monumental. Raise awareness today.
New, Creative Volunteer Position
Volunteers are critical to our success. The IETF is searching for a few dedicated individuals to take on the new Creative Content Volunteer position. Creative Content volunteers are special individuals who give freely of their time and talents, work on behalf of their community without financial compensation while making a big impact on the millions of people living with ET. The new Creative Content Volunteers will research and write creative content for the IETF’s blog, tremortalk.org, while acting as representatives of the IETF when writing for the organization. The position requires strong attention to detail, a background in creative or news writing and more. To read the full description and to apply, click here.
