 Scholarship Applications Due Oct. 31

Just another reminder that applications for spring 2020 IETF scholarships are due this month.

Each semester, the IETF awards scholarships to college students with essential tremor through the Catherine Rice Scholarship Fund. It’s our way of providing support for future generations and giving those students with ET a little extra encouragement. If you have a child with ET, a grandchild or know someone who qualifies, please share this information with them.

Scholarship Art HatScholarships are $1,000 and are awarded based on academic success, community service, leadership skills and an essay submission. Applications and more details are available on the IETF website. Application deadline is October 31, 2019.

The scholarship program was named to honor former long-time IETF executive director, Catherine Rice, who had a passion for recognizing achievements of students with essential tremor.

Recipients of the scholarships will be announced in late December.
