As founder and president of Fiser Group in Lenexa, Mitch Fiser has built one of Kansas City’s most trusted firms that professionals turn to for their business and practice needs. His introduction into finance began as a tax specialist for KPMG-Peat Marwick in Kansas City, Missouri. From there, Fiser went on to a regional healthcare consulting firm based in Omaha, Nebraska, where he worked in the KC office for seven years, the last two as a partner in the firm.
Frustrated with the “cookie-cutter” approach that many firms applied to their consulting and accounting trade, Fiser organized the Fiser Group in 1993 to assist clients with a “hands on” approach in assisting them with their business needs.
Fiser graduated with a bachelor of science in accounting from Kansas State University, Manhattan, is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). He is a current board member of the Kansas Society of CPAs, the Research Hospital Foundation, and the Kansas City Architectural Foundation, as well as a member of the Greater Kansas City Medical Managers Association, and an elder in his church.
He and his wife Susan have been married for 33 years and have two adult children.
