She says, “Even though there is a 45 year difference in our ages, it is nice to have someone to talk to about it.”
Strahm hopes that “one day there is a drug that will completely take the tremor away.”
In the meantime, she has developed understanding and compassion for others. She says, “This little ‘quirk’ that I have will never be something that holds me back from anything I do in life. I hope it continues to make me stop and have compassion for those that are not as lucky as I am.”
She was active in Student Council as an officer for three years, National Honors Society, cross country, track, and volleyball. Other activities include Fellowship of Christian Athletes, group leader of a mentor program, member of the AWANAS program at church, and a volunteer/donor for several charitable causes in the community.
