Fall 2017

Allison Dyke

A communications major at Kuyper College, Allison wants to spread the word about essential tremor. She has organized two awareness walks and helped create a support group for West Michigan.

 

 

Robert Holder

Robert is majoring in health and human sciences at Georgia Southern University. In his community, he has volunteered at the local retirement home, sponsored blood drives for the American Red Cross and developed the Little Pantry to help the homeless.

 

 

Brogan Speraw

Brogan is majoring in engineering at Ohio University. After graduation, he plans to obtain a job close to home where he can use his mechanical engineering skills to make his community a better place.

 

 

Madison Young

As an incoming freshman at Arkansas Tech University, Madison will major in pre-physical therapy with hopes of attending a physical therapy school after graduation and then work with disabled children and adults in Africa.

 

Spring 2018

Kelly Cordeiro

Kelly Cordeiro chose a mid-life career change that allowed her the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom, and now she is a student again. She is currently working on her doctorate in education at Molloy College, Rockville Centre, NY.

 

 

 

Ezra Thomas

Having essential tremor raises the bar for many important tasks Ezra Thomas has to perform as an aspiring electrical engineer at Merrimack College in North Andover, Maine. Instead of stepping back and letting ET manage his life, he has stepped out as a volunteer and mentor throughout high school and college.

 

 

Brogan Speraw

Brogan Speraw was diagnosed with essential tremor at age six, and now as a freshman in his second semester at Ohio University in Athens, he refuses to let the condition define him. He is majoring in mechanical engineering and plans to use his degree to make his community a better place.

 

 

Madison Young

Madison Young is her in second semester at Arkansas Tech University where she is majoring in rehabilitation science/pre-physical therapy. Some of the classes she is taking focus on helping people with physical disorders. While she is learning how to help others, she is learning how to help herself.
