Alberto Albanese graduated from the Catholic Univer­sity Medical School in Rome, Italy, in 1977; he received his certification in Neurology in 1981 and in Psychiatry in 1985. From 1978 to 1979, Dr Albanese was recipient of a Fulbright-Hays fellowship at the Brain Research Institute, University of California Los Angeles.

The main fields of interest of Fabrizio Stocchi have always been Parkinson’s disease, movement disorders and neurodegenerative diseases. He was invited as speakers in numerous conferences worldwide. Member of the Movement Disorders Society (which is cochairman of educational Committee), the European Federation of Neurological Societies, a member of the WFN Commettee; is the editorial board and refery international magazines that deal with movement disorders.

In February 2006, he is responsible for the Centre for the treatment and diagnosis of Parkinson IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana in Rome, where he is also head of the Clinical Trial Centre on movement disorders and the center for research and treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
