Tremor Gram – January 2018

Building a Stronger Workforce and Healthier Communities

Did you know the International Essential Tremor Foundation (IETF) is part of the Community Health Charities (CHC) network? CHC works to raise awareness and resources for health and wellness across the United States by connecting more than 2,000 of the most trusted health charities with caring employees through workplace giving campaigns.
This partnership provides support for U.S. workers who suffer from long-term health conditions, such as essential tremor. The end result is a stronger workforce and healthier communities.
Through the Combined Federal Campaign, federal employees (current and retired) can contribute through payroll deduction to CHC organizations, such as IETF. Just use code #21529 and your donation will go to support the mission of IETF to provide hope to the essential tremor community worldwide through awareness, education, support, and research.

Coverage Increases for Focused Ultrasound

Information about surgical treatment options for ET is posted on our website.

End of Year Giving Update

The International Essential Tremor Foundation closed out 2017 with a successful end of year giving campaign. Thank you to everyone who made a contribution!
We received a total of $27,644, from 385 donors. The average contribution was $72.
Donations help further our education and awareness efforts, support research for treatment and scholarships for students struggling with ET. Most importantly, donations provide hope that in the future, ET will be treatable and manageable for everyone. We are so grateful for your generosity!
